Whose customers pay several invoices at once, or pay in part.
Your bank says one number and your ledger says another. In between sit a customer who paid three invoices in one transfer, a gateway payout that arrived short after fees, and a USD receipt that landed in AED at a different rate. Our automated bank reconciliation service for UAE businesses closes that gap every month. Software does the first pass of matching, and a qualified accountant decides what every leftover item really is.
Tell us how many accounts you run and roughly how busy they are, and we will scope it.

Bank Reconciliation
Please don't attach bank statements or invoices here. We ask for records securely after the call.
It covers matching every bank line to your ledger, resolving what does not match, and a reviewed reconciliation for each account every month. Automation proposes the matches. Our accountants approve them, post the adjustments and follow up the gaps with you.
We work inside the platform you already use: daily in Zoho Books, Xero and QuickBooks, and also with Tally, Odoo and larger ERPs. Bank data arrives through a direct feed where your bank and software support one, or as exported statement files. We confirm which accounts can connect during the review.
For each bank line, the software suggests a match from amount, date, reference and payee. Our accountant accepts, corrects or rejects it. Where your software supports it, recurring items get matching rules.
A distributor pays five invoices in one transfer. A client pays 60% now and the rest later. We split each receipt across the invoices it settles and leave any open balance on the right invoice.
A USD invoice paid into an AED account rarely arrives at face value. We post the bank charge and the exchange difference separately, so the receivable clears to zero.
An unidentified deposit, a duplicate payment, a charge with no invoice. Each goes on an exceptions list with what we need from you, and we ask before anything is written off.
For each account you get a reconciliation tying the bank balance to the ledger, with open items, adjustments and exceptions. We agree the exact format at setup. Clean reconciliations are what make your VAT return filing and year-end statements trustworthy.
Send us your accounts and rough volumes for a scoped quote.
It suits UAE businesses where volume is the problem: many receipts, several accounts, gateway payouts or foreign-currency flows that an in-house team cannot keep matched every month. It also suits teams that keep their own books but want reconciliations reviewed independently.
Whose customers pay several invoices at once, or pay in part.
Paid out net of fees by gateways and card terminals.
With several accounts, currencies or entities, where internal transfers must net to zero.
We work from Business Bay, Dubai, with clients across the UAE and its free zones, fully online.
If you would rather hand over the whole ledger, reconciliation is part of our bookkeeping services in Dubai, where packages start from AED 1,500 per month.
After a one-off setup, it runs monthly. Your bank data comes in, software proposes matches, an accountant reviews and resolves them, you answer any open questions, and we send a reviewed reconciliation for every account.
Tell us your banks, accounts, software and rough volumes.
We check where each account stands and which can take a bank feed.
You get a written scope and fee before we touch anything.
We connect feeds or agree a statement import routine, and set matching rules.
Software proposes matches; our accountant approves them and posts the adjustments.
You get a short list of items that need a reply or a document.
Each account is reviewed before it reaches you.
If differences go back months or years, our backlog accounting services rebuild past periods first, then the monthly cycle takes over.
Every reconciling item has a correct home in the ledger, and suspense is not one of them. Here are the items we see most often in UAE accounts, how we treat each one and what we may ask you for.
| Situation | What the bank shows | What we do | What we may ask you for |
|---|---|---|---|
| One transfer pays several invoices | One receipt | Split it across the invoices it settles | Remittance advice, if unclear |
| Partial settlement | Receipt below invoice value | Apply it, leave the balance open | Whether the balance is still due |
| Foreign-currency receipt | AED amount differs from invoice | Post the realised exchange gain or loss | Usually nothing |
| Intermediary bank charges | Receipt slightly short | Post as bank charges, clear the invoice | Usually nothing |
| Gateway or card payout | One net deposit per batch | Record sales, refunds and fees via a clearing account | Settlement report |
| Unidentified deposit | Receipt with no clear payer | Hold it on the exceptions list | Who paid and why |
There are three: monthly reconciliation on its own, reconciliation inside full bookkeeping, or a catch-up of past months followed by either. The right one depends on who keeps your books today and how far behind they are.
Your team keeps recording transactions. We reconcile the agreed accounts each month, a second qualified pair of eyes on the bank.
We keep the whole ledger and reconcile it at month end, as part of our accounting services in Dubai.
We work back through past periods, clear what the evidence supports and flag the rest. Then you move onto a monthly option.

Your fee is fixed and agreed in writing before work starts. It depends on how many accounts we reconcile, your monthly transaction volume, the currencies and gateways involved, and how far behind the accounts are today.
Two AED accounts are a very different job from six accounts, three currencies and daily gateway payouts, so we quote after the review. If the scope changes, we quote the change and wait for your approval.
Tell us your volumes and we will come back with a fixed monthly figure.
Because the judgement calls stay with qualified accountants. Automation speeds up matching, but deciding what an unmatched receipt is, and how it affects VAT or tax, is accounting work. We have done that work for UAE businesses for over ten years.
Nothing is submitted on a junior's judgement.
We know how a misallocated receipt changes your VAT position.

Had my first corporate tax filing done through Bestax. They offered a tax planning session that was extremely helpful, especially because I was unsure what expenses could be deducted legally. They kinda guided me through the whole process because, as a healthcare professional, I had no clue how things work around here.
I'm very pleased with the support provided by Athira and her team in completing my Transfer Pricing report and filing the Corporate Tax returns for my company. They are highly responsive, and the quality of their work and reports is truly excellent.
Very smooth and efficient service to open a freezone company. Even while sitting in canada. They are great. Highly highly recommend.
Bestax have been managing my accounts for the past 1 year now and I must say they do an amazing job. My tax returns are always on time and I never faced any penalty.
Maham guided me through the business license renewal process. She even flagged upcoming compliance changes I had no clue about. It’s that extra attention to detail that makes Bestax stand out.
Anusha at Bestax keeps our financials in top shape. Her budgeting advice has improved our cash flow significantly. Highly reliable team!

If your question is not here, ask it directly.
It depends on your bank and your software, so we check account by account during the review. Some UAE accounts connect directly to Zoho Books, Xero or QuickBooks; others do not. Without a feed, we work from exported statements.
Yes. Zoho Books, Xero and QuickBooks all accept imported statement files, and CSV is a common format. We agree the export routine at setup.
The payment is applied to its invoice and the unpaid balance stays open there. If the shortfall may be a discount or a dispute, we ask you before clearing it.
They go on the exceptions list with the document we need. Anything still open at month end shows on that month's reconciliation, so nothing disappears.
No. Automation proposes matches and flags inconsistencies. A qualified accountant reviews every reconciliation before it reaches you.
