Whose file was set up in a hurry, and new subscribers who want it right from day one.
Your team moved to Zoho Books to save time. Yet bills still get typed in by hand, approvals happen over chat, and the bank is matched in a spreadsheet at month end. Our Zoho Books automation service for UAE businesses fixes that inside the system you already pay for, and our accountants review the output before you rely on it.
Tell us where Zoho Books slows your team down, and we will tell you what can be automated.

Zoho Books Automation
Please don't attach bank statements or invoices here. We ask for records securely after the call.
We review your current Zoho Books file, then set up document capture, bank rules, approvals, integrations and UAE VAT settings. Each change is agreed with you and tested before it runs on your live books, and your team learns how to use it.
We check your chart of accounts, tax codes, user roles, open bank items and any rules already running, then agree with you what to fix first. Automation copies whatever sits underneath it.
We set who can create, approve and edit each type of transaction. Approval features depend on your Zoho plan, so we confirm yours first.
Where you use Zoho CRM, an online store or a payment gateway, we agree what flows into Zoho Books, how it is coded and who checks it.
We set up tax rates, treatments (standard rated, zero rated, exempt and reverse charge) and invoice templates that carry your TRN. Our VAT return filing team can file from the books we configure, so the setup is built around the return.
Your team is trained on your own file to review suggestions, clear exceptions and change rules safely. Ongoing support is optional.
Want to know which of these would help your file most?
It depends on your Zoho Books edition, your plan, and whether your admin has switched the features on. Zoho offers AI tools, including its Zia assistant, but not every feature is available to every organisation. We check yours before promising anything.
| Tool | Rules or AI? | What it does | Who checks it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Workflow rules | Rules | Alerts, reminders and field updates when set conditions are met | Your team approves the logic first |
| Bank rules | Rules | Codes recurring bank lines the same way | Reviewed at each reconciliation |
| Autoscan | Automated capture, where available | Turns uploaded bills and receipts into drafts | A person confirms each draft |
| Zia and other AI features | AI, where available in your edition | Suggests categories and flags unusual items | An accountant, before anything is relied on |
Rules do exactly what they are told. AI suggests based on patterns, and suggestions can be wrong, so nothing an AI feature proposes becomes a filed figure until a qualified accountant has checked it.
It suits UAE businesses that keep their own books in Zoho Books and want the software to carry more of the routine work each month. You keep your finance team; we make their system work properly.
Whose file was set up in a hurry, and new subscribers who want it right from day one.
Tired of matching bank lines and chasing approvals.
With stores, gateways or several organisations.
If you would rather hand the work over, our bookkeeping services in Dubai cover the monthly books. Still choosing a platform? Our accounting software services compare Zoho Books with the other systems we work in.
A Zoho Books automation project runs in six steps: a free call, a review of your file, a fixed fee proposal, configuration and testing, go live with training, then support if you want it. You approve the scope before anything changes in your live books.
Tell us your plan, your volume and where time is lost.
With your permission, we review your organisation and list the changes worth making.
A written scope and fixed fee. Work starts only after you approve it.
We build and test the rules, approvals, integrations and VAT settings.
The new setup runs alongside your old routine until the numbers agree.
Follow-up help and rule changes, if you choose it.

There are two separate costs. Zoho charges the subscription for your plan. We charge one fixed fee for the setup work, agreed in writing before we start, based on your workflows, entities, integrations and the state of your file.
Send us your plan and volumes for a fixed fee.
| Cost | Who charges it | What drives it |
|---|---|---|
| Zoho Books subscription | Zoho | Plan level, users and add-ons |
| Setup and automation work | Bestax, as one fixed fee | Workflows, approvals, integrations, entities, clean-up |
| Ongoing support (optional) | Bestax, quoted separately | Only if you choose it |
Some features sit only on higher Zoho plans, and we tell you before you commit if an upgrade is needed. A file with months of unreconciled lines may need our backlog accounting services first. There is no hourly billing, and anything outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and waits for your approval.
The people who set up your automation also prepare VAT returns and corporate tax filings. We build Zoho Books around the figures you legally need and check the output as accountants, not just as technicians.
Our accounting and taxation work is led by Haseeb Hamdani, FCCA, UAE-CA, whose background includes ERP implementation.
We deal with the FTA on your behalf, so the team setting up your VAT codes knows how those figures are examined.
So you can weigh our advice with full information.
Nothing is submitted on a junior's judgement, you get one named accountant, not a helpdesk, and an NDA is standard with every engagement.
10+ years of experience, 35+ professionals and more than 1,000 businesses served across the UAE, Canada, the USA and Panama.
Haseeb has been managing our books and he's been sharp caught a couple of classification errors from our previous accountant and got everything aligned with UAE compliance requirements.
Talk to an accountant about your Zoho Books file, not a sales team.
Bestax is rated 4.8 out of 5 from more than 200 Google reviews, built over 10+ years with a team of 35+ professionals serving more than 1,000 clients.

Had my first corporate tax filing done through Bestax. They offered a tax planning session that was extremely helpful, especially because I was unsure what expenses could be deducted legally. They kinda guided me through the whole process because, as a healthcare professional, I had no clue how things work around here.
I'm very pleased with the support provided by Athira and her team in completing my Transfer Pricing report and filing the Corporate Tax returns for my company. They are highly responsive, and the quality of their work and reports is truly excellent.
Very smooth and efficient service to open a freezone company. Even while sitting in canada. They are great. Highly highly recommend.
Bestax have been managing my accounts for the past 1 year now and I must say they do an amazing job. My tax returns are always on time and I never faced any penalty.
Maham guided me through the business license renewal process. She even flagged upcoming compliance changes I had no clue about. It’s that extra attention to detail that makes Bestax stand out.
Anusha at Bestax keeps our financials in top shape. Her budgeting advice has improved our cash flow significantly. Highly reliable team!

If your question is not here, ask it directly.
It depends on your edition, plan and settings, so we check your organisation rather than assume. Where a feature is missing, we use rules instead where that is possible.
No. Our fixed fee covers the setup and automation work. The Zoho Books subscription is a separate cost set by your plan.
Yes. We review yours, then fix the chart of accounts, tax codes, roles and rules within the scope you approve.
We scope it case by case. Standard workflow rules are easier for your team to maintain, so we look at them first. If custom functions are needed, we agree the logic, testing and fee in writing before any code is built.
Not on its own. Under the UAE e-invoicing programme, a PDF or scanned invoice is not an e-invoice, and invoices must pass through an accredited service provider. Our e-invoicing services cover readiness, provider selection support and field mapping.
